A Book Drive for an Indigenous Little Free Library serving the United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians

 

Here’s a new book drive for an Oklahoma Indigenous Little Free Library serving the United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians. Please send what you can (gently used books are welcome) and let me know what you’ve donated so I can update this tally. Thank you so much for supporting the United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians community with much needed book. Your help makes a huge difference!

Aaron Huey's effort to photograph poverty in America led him to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, where the struggle of the native Lakota people — appalling, and largely ignored — compelled him to refocus. Five years of work later, his haunting photos intertwine with a shocking history lesson.
