A Book Drive for an Indigenous Little Free Library on the White Earth Reservation serving Ojibwe Families

Here’s a new book drive for an Indigenous Little Free Library located in the Waabanookwe/Naytahwaush Health Clinic on the White Earth Reservation, serving Ojibwe families. Please take a look at their wishlist below and let me know what books you can send. New and/or gently used copies are fine and don’t forget the post office’s media rate is a reasonable way to ship books from home. I use it frequently.

Aaron Huey's effort to photograph poverty in America led him to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, where the struggle of the native Lakota people — appalling, and largely ignored — compelled him to refocus. Five years of work later, his haunting photos intertwine with a shocking history lesson.
