On January 21st an apartment building burned to the ground on Pine Ridge Reservation, leaving 21 families with a total loss and no where to live. It will take some time for these families to find a new place to live and it will take us some time to get through this wishlist of household items that they’ll all need to start over. Please send what you can and let me know what you are donating so I can update the tally here. First Families Now will store these items and distribute them out to the families as they find a new residence and need these supplies. Thanks so much for your kindness and generosity. It will go a long way towards helping the Lakota families heal from this trauma.
