Books for Havasupai Children [At the bottom of the Grand Canyon]

This Havasupai Reservation in Arizona, located 8 miles down from the rim of the Grand Canyon, in Supai, the most remote village in the continental United States. To reach this community you must enter by mule, horse, on foot or by helicopter.  Mail is delivered via mule train only.  If you can donate any of the items listed below to the Havasupai children on the rez, please let me know what you are sending and I will mark it as donated. You are welcome to donate any other books/new toys, games, etc.

Thank you for supporting the Havasupai kids!

Aaron Huey's effort to photograph poverty in America led him to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, where the struggle of the native Lakota people — appalling, and largely ignored — compelled him to refocus. Five years of work later, his haunting photos intertwine with a shocking history lesson.
