Hello Chris,

I just want to send my deep felt heart felt gratitude to all the wonderful people who have sent all types of items from the books, craft books, school supplies etc. This is so appreciated by teachers.

It was great coming back to school and opening all the boxes! Thank You.

Hi Friends of the Pine Ridge Reservation,

We want to say a big thank you to all the many people who have donated the literacy board games, the Mad Libs triva, the books for not only our library but for our classrooms and for the many donations in February especially all the Valentines cards, etc.

Thank you very much!!

Sharei Mousseaux, Principal

Aaron Huey's effort to photograph poverty in America led him to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, where the struggle of the native Lakota people — appalling, and largely ignored — compelled him to refocus. Five years of work later, his haunting photos intertwine with a shocking history lesson.
