Dear Friends,

Thank you so much for continuing to support our efforts, I can’t express how much your donations mean to our children and to us here at the center.

Our summer program is in full swing and our center is now open daily from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm with the exception of a couple of weekends reserved for our community basketball, horseshoes, and volleyball games/leagues. The children get to enjoy arts and crafts, outdoor water games and learning leadership and team building skills.

Thank you so much for everything you all do, you are truly appreciated.

THANK YOU!!!! Chris you are the BEST. So far we’ve received an outdoor movie screen, grill, PA system and 2 canopies. Wow, that is amazing!!!

Thank you to our fabulous friends, you just made us very happy and excited for the summer. Man I still cannot believe the generosity. I wish there was another word for thank you because you all have to know that we really do appreciate everything, EVERYTHING!!, YOU ALL DO FOR OUR PROGRAM.

Things here at the center have been changing, we will be getting two VISTA workers, 10 summer associates “employees” for our summer program, our garden program went from no funding for the past three years, but we continued to do it with your help, thank you, now we have received several grants to help with the cost.

We now have a garden instructor, 4 part time gardeners, funding for supplies and we are hosting weekly garden classes here at the center. Thank you so much for your continued support in helping us keep the garden program going, it truly means a lot to me.

Dear Friends,

Thank you so much for the Easter Supplies, your generous support is truly appreciated. Our Annual Egg hunt and Easter Party will take place this year on March 24th at 2:00 pm. Weather permitting. I cannot believe how early the party is this year, we are hoping to provide food, egg hunt and many prizes.

This is one of our largest community events, we usually provide this program to more then 300 people, we do it for the children, We love seeing their happiness, excitement and overall a great Easter for them. Thank you so much for your continued support.

Hello Chris and Friends,

Thank you so much for your support for our annual Christmas program and gift distribution which was held on December 21, 2015 during this time we were able to gift over 315 children with a Christmas gift, books and snacks.

The Christmas program was held here at the center with not much room to visit or roam, it was basically in one door and out the other. We allowed 10 children at time to enter and stroll through the gifts which were set up in a store setting, none were wrapped so the children were able to select the item that they want, a lesson learned many years ago. Several years ago we wrapped gift after gift working tirelessly to make their Christmas something they would love and remember but that was not the case. We had parents and children coming back two, three, times saying that they received a wrong gender gift or my child would prefer? It was a mess. This way the kiddos were able to choose what they wanted and everyone was happy.

Among your generous donations we received a large donation of books and blankets so at the front of the line we distributed books and blankets to each child, then they strolled through the aisle to pick out their gift, snacks were given at the end of line and out the door they went and 10 more and so on. It was a great day and all the kiddos seemed to like the process so thank you so much for everything and all the support you all give to us.

Honestly, we would not be able to provide programs without your help, thank you!

Hello Chris and Friends,

Just wanted to say thank once again for your generous contribution and support for our annual Christmas program, your donations were delivered to the Senior Center on December 15th, and we delivered to those who could not be there.

Thank you so much for all your support. Too often our elders are forgotten and left to fend for themselves, but because of your gifts you have brighten their day, so thank you so much.
