Thank You from Red Cloud High School Student Council

Dear Friends of Pine Ridge Reservation,

Thank you for donating the supplies that we used for our homecoming events. The donations of kraft paper and paint were used to decorate our hallways and our floats in the parade. The variety of many colors that were donated fit well with our theme “Decades”.

The supplies were distributed evenly throughout each class. We used all the different colors of paint and craft paper in different events to show our Crusader pride. The fun decorations gave the whole student body the opportunity to show their spirit.

Your donations are very much appreciated here at Red Cloud High School. Thank You again for your generosity.

Sincerely,

Carla Jasso and RCHS Student Council 2011-2012

Spread the love

Aaron Huey's effort to photograph poverty in America led him to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, where the struggle of the native Lakota people — appalling, and largely ignored — compelled him to refocus. Five years of work later, his haunting photos intertwine with a shocking history lesson.
