This elementary school is on the Havasupai Reservation in Arizona, located 8 miles down from the rim of the Grand Canyon, in Supai, the most remote village in the continental United States. Havasupai Elementary School is the most remote of the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) schools. To reach this community you must enter by mule, horse, on foot or by helicopter. Mail is delivered via mule train only. Also, to avoid confusion, there is another school with the same name, Havasupai Elementary School, in AZ but it is located in Lake Havasu City. This one, on the Havasupai Reservation, is in Supai, AZ.

Since this school sits 8 miles down on the bottom of the Grand Canyon, and is accessible only by mule, horse, foot and helicopter, UPS and FedEx do NOT deliver to this reservation. All packages must be shipped via the U.S. Post Office, to their p.o. box, which uses a mule train to deliver the mail. Boxes should be no heavier than 40 pounds. Thank you!
