Please send a Yurok elder, some living in isolation on the far reaches of the reservation, a Father’s Day greeting card! These will be distributed by the Yurok Elders Nutrition Program with their once a week hot lunch delivery. It means so much to them to get a card. We started with Valentine’s Day cards and they were an overwhelming success. They made such an impact, I plan to do a card shower for them for every holiday.
Purchased or home made cards are fine and if you are sending more than one, no need for stamps. You can send one or a batch to the address below. Non-religious cards only please and you can sign them with your first name, city and state so they can see how far the cards traveled (no need to include your last name) and include a greeting if you’d like!
