A Face Masks Donation Drive for Native American Reservations

Here’s a short list of some reservations that are very grateful for help with sewn or purchased face masks, cloth or disposable, in adult and children’s sizes.  Disposable gloves, hand sanitizer, touchless thermometers,  pulse oximeters (oxygen saturation monitors) and face shields will also help their residents protect themselves from the Corona virus.  Ship to the addresses below.  The reservations at the bottom of the list are the latest to be added so they will not have received as many as the others.  No need to let me know what you’ve sent for this one, it will be an ongoing donation drive and I’ll leave it up as long as we all have to wear masks!

By the way, when ordering masks on Amazon, some vendors will ship to a p.o. box and some won’t.  The only way you’ll be able to tell is when you go to checkout.  If your vendor won’t ship to a p.o. box, just try another brand, lots of them will.  Thanks!

They can use as many as you can send. Also, if you know of any mask sewing groups, I would really appreciate it if you give them a link to this page. I’ll be adding more addresses so check back frequently! Many of their offices are closed due to the pandemic so they aren’t answering phones but I am reaching out to many others via email when I can and as soon as I receive their permission to post their information I’ll update this listing.

Also, due to the volume of donations shipped to the various reservations FoPRR cannot verify delivery of your boxes. If you are shipping from home and require confirmation of delivery, please purchase delivery confirmation from the post office or use your shipping service’s tracking system. If Amazon couldn’t deliver your order for any reason they will let you know but there are typically very few problems with delivery.

Thank you so very much for your kindness and generosity, your donations here will actually save lives.

Aaron Huey's effort to photograph poverty in America led him to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, where the struggle of the native Lakota people — appalling, and largely ignored — compelled him to refocus. Five years of work later, his haunting photos intertwine with a shocking history lesson.
