I had intended to write to everyone who sent us books, but -- happily -- we have been overwhelmed by your generosity. I can not keep up. (That is what I call a good problem.)

This has been wonderful for us. As I told you, we have not had the funds to buy any books for the past four years. Since we always lose some books--mostly the most popular ones, of course--our library has fallen into some disrepair.

The books that you all have sent us have added a great deal to our library. I appreciate all of them. Our kids love them. Many of these books have never been on the shelves; they are checked out as quickly as I can get them ready.
