Invest in the Future of a ChildThe Oglala Lakota Court Appointed Special Advocate Program (OLCASA) is a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting hundreds of children in crisis each year by recruiting and training volunteers to serve as CASA advocates. The advocates are appointed by the courts and work diligently on behalf of abused and neglected children in the legal system. Click here to read more about OLCASA and the good work it does for Pine Ridge Reservation children. We are kicking off a campaign to get 100 pledges of donations of $100 to OLCASA, sent to them in any increment between now and December 31, 2008. If you can send a donation every month, August through December, you need only send in $20 per month and if you set up your automatic bill pay bank service to mail the checks out you won't even have to think about it! If you'd like to participate in the challenge, please send your tax-deductible checks or money orders to:
Oglala Lakota CASA Click here to let us know which state (or country) your donation represents (it can be the state where you live, or the state where you were born, or any state that you have a special connection to) and we'll keep track here so you can see our progress. Our goal is at least two pledges per state. Thanks so much for supporting the children!
Alabama: 1 pledge--Thank you! (Need 1) And from our friends in other countries:
