Did you know that if every household in the United States replaced just one light bulb with a compact fluorescent light bulb (CFL), it would prevent enough pollution to equal removing one million automobiles from the roadways? Replacing just one 100 watt incandescent bulb with a 32 watt CFL can save at least $30 in energy costs over the lifetime of the bulb and, the CFL bulbs only need to be replaced every five to six years!
In honor of Earth Day, please help our friends on the reservation make the switch to CFLs by donating some to Re-Member. They will replace bulbs in every home in which they do repairs as long as their donation supplies last.
