Porcupine ClinicThe Porcupine Clinic, established in 1992, is the only independent Indian community-controlled health clinic in the United States. Many of their patients are non-English speaking elders and the clinic never turns anyone away for lack of insurance or ability to pay for treatment. The clinic is very proactive in the fight against diabetes, which is rampant on the reservation, and there is an adjoining dialysis center that treats patients three times a week. They also provide prenatal care to expectant mothers as well as a weekly well-baby clinic. You can help support the Porcupine Clinic by sending any of the donations listed below:
