Donations for Infants and Toddlers
Many of the service organizations on Pine Ridge Reservation can use donations for infants and toddlers. Please send only items in new or like new condition please. Consider ordering infant and toddler supplies from an online vendor such as www.amazon.com, www.walgreens.com, www.kidsurplus.com, www.target.com, www.drugstore.com, and having your donations shipped directly to the reservation.
Here are some suggested items that can be used and the organizations that can utilize them:
- Antibiotic ointments/first aid cream
- Baby coupons from manufacturers
- Baby hygiene products (wash, lotion etc)
- Baby journals or keepsake kits
- Baby manicure items
- Baby seats (for safety reasons, please do not donate used car seats - brand new only), bouncers and bath aid seats
- Baby sunscreen
- Baby thermometers, medicine droppers and spoons
- Baby toys and rattles
- Baby toys/teethers
- Bassinets and Moses Baskets
- Bassinet sheets
- Bibs (newborn through toddler) and disposable bibs
- Blankets (all types, sizes and weights, especially receiving blankets)
- Board and soft books
- Bottles, nipples and brushes
- Cloth diapers
- Combs and brushes
- Crib sheets/mattress pads (regular and waterproof)
- Crib toys/mobiles
- Diaper bags/tote bags
- Diaper pails
- Diapers- disposables preferred due to sometimes unavailability of washers
- Formula
- Hooded towels and washcloths
- Infant and children table ware
- Infant cereal
- Infant Mylanta or gas drops
- Infant stain remover/detergent
- Infant Tylenol, Motrin
- Infant/toddler cold medicines
- Lap pads
