If you missed the documentary "Election Day" on PBS (parts of it were filmed on Pine Ridge Reservation), you can watch it in its entirety online through July 31st here.************ Kicking off a new donation drive! On your mark, get set... The school supply sales are here! On Sunday through Wednesday your local Staples stores will have No. 2 yellow pencils (8-pack) (limit 2), 2-pocket folders (limit 10), 1/2" and 1" poly binders (limit 4), and .05 oz. bottles of Purell (limit 2), ALL on sale for only ONE CENT! If you purchase the maximum number of items allowed, you'll walk out of there with quite a few school supplies for only 18 cents plus tax. Please swing by Staples early in the week (and take a friend along so they can buy the limit too!) because these items will sell out quickly, they do every year. Please ship them to the Cangleska battered women's shelter for the nearly 1,000 kids in the shelter and in their outreach families who can really use your help. School starts in August on the reservation so classes will be in session before we know it! Ship your school supply donations to:
