10/01/08Just wanted to share some thank you letters with you.September 4, 2008 Friends of Pine Ridge Reservation Dear Chris, Just a short note to let all of your readers know how much we appreciate the pens, pencils, notebooks, and all of the other thoughtful school supplies donated by your readers. It was so much fun to watch the children get ready for school. And, of course, your dear readers obviously know that school supplies play a big part in all the back to school excitement. The bus picks the children up at the shelter and a person just has to smile when you see those shiny scrubbed faces getting on the bus. Add to the picture...they’re proudly carrying their new school supplies. Friends of the Pine Ridge readers, you made some memories for Oglala children and we thank you.
